Orgy has been tearin' it up out on the road with Spineshank, Alien Ant Farm and Tinfed for the last few weeks! Unfortunately those will be the only shows Orgy will be playing for while. Here's the deal......Amir caught mono and he's very sick. Orgy has had to cancel the remainder of their shows on the successful "Vapor Transmission" tour as well as the opening gig on the "Raid the Nation" tour with Papa Roach. Here's the press release:
Due to an illness within the band ORGY, the remaining 5 dates on their current successful Vapor Transmission headline tour have been cancelled. Amir Derakh, synth guitarist in the band, was diagnosed on Saturday as having a severe case of Mononucleosis and, under orders from physicians, is required to discontinue touring and rest for the next five to six weeks. The members of Orgy regret the cancellations and appreciate the tremendous response they have received from fans during this current tour.
